You can clean Shark accessories, by running them under warm water, making sure not to use soap. Please let them dry completely before using. Hair can be removed by using your fingers or a thin comb.

To clean a hair tool filter, Shark recommends using a new toothbrush to clean any dust or debris off the filter. Make sure to brush in a downward motion towards the power cord and keep brushing until the dust and debris have been removed from the mesh. Before starting, make sure that your hair dryer is turned off and unplugged. Simply brush away any lint, hair or dust on the vented area at the back of your hair dryer using the brush.

In general, the higher the temperatures used on your hair, the more likely you are to cause heat damage. However, the temperatures you’re using on your hair should be dependent on the hair health and condition. It is suggested people with extremely thin hair shouldn’t be using anything above 160℃.

If your hair tool has a filter, you should clean it regularly to keep it in optimum condition, especially if you notice any visible dust build-up. Failure to regularly clean your hair tool filter can potentially compromise its performance.
