What is BIOPEP-15 Technology?

BIOPEP-15 helps to protect your skin from the agents that cause the typical signs of acne-prone skin.

This plant-based peptide technology contrasts the rapid reproduction of Cutibacterium acnes - the main bacteria involved in the development of acne.

BIOPEP-15 is based on a set of 15 vegetable amino acids that work together to slow down the growth of microorganisms.

How does Retinsphere® Technology work?

The innovative Retinsphere® Technology combines two retinoids that are both high tolerance: hydroxypinacolone retinoate, and stabilised and encapsulated retinol. Together, they smooth your skin and reduce blemishes and imperfections by stimulating epidermal renewal. The technology has similar efficacy to retinoic acid but is free from its common adverse effects like redness, irritation, and skin flaking, making it more tolerable for your skin.

Derived from vitamin A or retinol, and well-known to be effective in the treatment of acne, hyperpigmentation, and photoaging, it causes a renewing action to the surface of your skin.

Hydroxypinacolone retinoate
This retinoic acid derivative delivers the same renewing benefit, but without the potential for irritation.

Stabilised and encapsulated retinol
Facilitating the penetration of retinol into the deeper layers of the skin, this gradual release system allows the retinol to act in a sustained way over time.

Retinol is transformed into retinoic acid in the higher layers of your epidermis. From here, it acts on its cells, which helps to enhance the process of natural skin renewal:

• Promoting the growth and differentiation of cells to combat fine lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation.
• Inhibiting the synthesis of tyrosinase - an enzyme responsible for producing melanin, to reduce dark spots.
